Famous British writer, Walter Scott lay on his deathbed,
life
gradually ebbing out of him.
He called for his eldest son and ordered: “Give me
the book!”
The son was perplexed, for he knew
the old man had a well
stocked library of
books, including his works. So the young man
asked what book the father meant.
Scott
fired back: “There is
but one book which could be called,
the Book: The Bible”. Similarly there is one spirit,
that which confesses Jesus Christ
is Come in the flesh and
that He is The Saviour.
Come unto Him today,
He loves you.
Brilliant!
